Azur Speedy 30... Let's Try This Again
So, as some of you know, I've had a bit of an ordeal. Let's start at the beginning. This is going to be long, so bear with me...
About 3.5 weeks ago I went to the LV store in Soho to get my bag hot-stamped. I walked in, was greeted by 4 SAs, and brought over to the register area on the first floor. I gave the woman my bag, filled out a form, and was gone within 5 minutes. I was told my bag would be ready in 5-7 days, and they would call me to let me know when it was ready. So a week passes, and no call, so I call the store, ask about my bag, and they put me on hold. A few minutes later someone else picks up, told them the same thing, and they said "Oh yes it's ready." Would have been nice to have gotten a call...
So Matt and I head to Soho 2.5 weeks ago to pick up my bag. A really nice SA goes in the back, and brings my bag out to me. She opens up the dust bag... and it's WRONG! The letters were the wrong size, and the hot stamping was not how I told the girl I wanted it. The SA was in shock. She felt so bad for me. So she goes in the back, and we're waiting there... she finally comes back out and says they're going to replace my bag with a new one. I told her how quickly it was done when I came in the first time, and she says she just can't believe it. So this time she makes sure it's going to turn out how I want it. She says she'll call me it'll be done priority... another week goes by and still no call about the bag.
So, Matt and I go to Soho last weekend to pick up the bag. I figure I didn't get a call last time so I'll just go pick it up, it should be ready. On of the male SAs who was there last time witnessing my ordeal helped me out. A different lady went into the back to get my bag, and when she brought it out... it wasn't even done yet! He kind of just looked at me like "I can't believe it, again?" He said he felt really bad, and told me to go get lunch and it'll be done in an hour. He asked if I wanted to be called when it was ready, and I told him no I'll just come back. So Matt and I just got our food at lunch, and my phone rings. It;s the SA from LV. He says "So we had a little snafoo with the machine, and it burned a hole through your bag, so we're getting you a new one. I am so sorry, this is really embarrassing. We'll send it to you in the mail and you'll get it on Wednesday."
So, finally, the bag came today, and it's perfect. Exactly what I wanted. It's a brand new bag, only a month old, and very white. I would have preferred to have my original bag, correctly done the first time, but it is what it is I guess. They also sent me my very first LV gift :)
So, sorry for the long story, but it was quite a lot that happened in 3.5 weeks, all to get my initials on my bag, lol.

OMG, that is disgraceful! That store should be really embarrassed.

At least the monogramming looks nice! And a free purse hook!

Are you serious? It must have been her first day or something... maybe she filled the form out wrong or something, idk. But then 2nd time around they burned right through it, wtf. Not very "artisan" of them.
But in the end, a brand new purse with beautiful monogram + a purse hook!

I'm just still in awe over your LV experience. I hope that this was just like a one (ermm, 2 time) mess up with the store and you don't have any other bad experiences with the boutique.
