    Default LV Books, Cataloques, Magazines...

    Hello,
I would like to show you my LV literature collection. This comprises books about LV and the luxury industry as well as LV advertising material and catalogues.

In past years I used to give away (I wish I hadn't) old LV catalogues! Today they are highly collectable and some issues make over $100- on some auction sites. Whilst I don't collect for money - it is nice to know these are a valuable item.

Your Louis Vuitton store is often a great place to start collecting literature. They have seasonal catalogues - the YEARLY catalogue seems to be dying out! I have often been told there are no more YEARLY CATALOGUES! (a white lie). If you ring the mail order service they will often post you a catalogue! - I have no idea why the store lies? Or perhaps the store has run out of them? Anyhow - I think that is a great shame if LV stopped the yearly catalogue.

I also love the Japanese brand magazines! LV is very popular in Japan. I am lucky enough to have a few friends who travel there for business! So I ask them to get a few magazines for me.

Lately I have started buying old LV advertisements from eBay - these are old magazine adverts. Usually only about $10- or so... I nice touch to have.

Anyhow - Please enjoy my pics below.

    Entire Literature collection

Default Yes - Rolex - Thank you!

    Hello,
Yes the watch is a Rolex DateJust 16234. Steel with white gold bezel - far more humble in my opinion than two tone !

I have also upgraded my "Humble Holy Grail Watch" - White Gold Patek Philippe Calatrava.

    Scans below:-

My Holy grail watch - Patek Philippe 5107

My wife's 40th birthday present - Cartier Bainjoire in 18K

    Sorry, Zombie. Couldn't help myself.

Hey Archie, in the original pictures posted, you couldn't even tell what the watch was. I just wanted to see if you could refrain.
