Default Louis Vuitton and a trip to Europe

I will be studying abroad for two months this summer in London, making trips to Ireland, Milan, and Paris while I am there.

I love my LV Speedy and would love to take it with me, but Europe makes me nervous. Is it "safe" for me to take it? You hear so many horror stories about Americans getting robbed and pick pocketted, and I obviously would want to come back from Europe with my purse.

What are y'alls thoughts on it?
    I'm new to all this

I wonder where you heard that from...

As far as i know Europeans are way more conscious of fashion and you will very rarely find any fake handbags around there. The crackdown on fakes there is very strict. Most Europeans carry only authentic bags and the really expensive ones at that. Possibility of getting pick pocketed and robbed exists in any and every major city in the world. If you stay in safe areas and don't do anything foolish i am sure you will have agreat trip without any worry.

Carry your speedy and have a wonderful time

Anywhere you go in the world there is going to be a risk of getting pick pocketed. When I was in Rome there were a lot of gypsies and their children would come up to you to try and get money from you. They would say to keep your wallet out of your pocket (especially the back one) because one kid would distract you and the other would take your money. You just have to be conscious of what's going on around you.

I wouldn't let that stop me. I agree with Lils, you have to be watchful anywhere you go these days. Take your Speedy and enjoy it!!
