    Default Reviving the louis...

So i purchased a vintage lv "30" ...the pictures from when I purchased the bag were pretty decent...The bag didnt look so bad...

Well I recieved my bag today and IT LOOKS HORRILE. Yes it is authentic but it looks so dull. I'm taking it that it was made in the 1970's since it was made in France. I really feel bad about this purchase but I kinda want to keep the bag.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to revive an older bag? Is it worth the try..or should I send it back to the seller since it wasnt what I expected....

(im saving for a new bag...but right now I just can't afford anything over 500 at this point..and I WANT THE 35/40 bag mono speedy)

Did you buy it on eBay? Did they say anything in the listing about the condition or if they would except returns? Would love to see some 's too

yeah ima post some ..the only thing that she said n the post was that the handles were worn which i was willing to deal with but the bag looks so blahhhhhhhhh...
so dissapointed ...and she will allow returns i just feel bad ...this is the 2nd time she got a return for the bag (which i should have taken in consideration) but she
was just saying that it was returned only for the handles..
and let me tell u..its not the handles that is the bad part..

    pics comming soon

This is a VERY vintage bag. It's actually French Company. Maybe you could still get a pre-loved Speedy, and for about $200 more you could probably score one on eBay that's not as bad looking as that one.

I didn't realize how dirty my bags were. I have several LV bags with coated canvas and all came out really nice.
BTW, did she mention that the bags had stains in them before you bought it?
