    Default LV quality issues

    I was looking at my neverfull and I noticed the inside lining was kind of crooked!! I thought it was just the way the bag was placed on my lap but upon further inspection I saw it was crooked!!! I went back to the store and showed the manager and she told me she couldn't do anything coz I already used the bag so she refused to exchange it. She said yes it was crooked but sorry. Needless to say I am a bit upset because I spent money on a Louis because I expect impeccable workmanship and quality.
    Has anyone else experienced issues with quality and what did you do to resolve it?
    I am thinking if contacting LV via email or calling their customer service about it...
    What else can i do?

    And I just got off the phone with their CS who told mebthey will stand behind the stores decision!!!!!!

    Oh and the canvas is crooked too. It's very slight on the outside but still it's the principle of the thing..... I bought LV bec of the quality. Sigh.

    I would file a complaint. I've never heard of them not standing behind their product. Has something changed?

    i think it's the manager of that store. first of, it took me a really long time before i decided what to get (weeks!). i kept going there, looking and trying on bags and talking to the SA's to get info about the bags and whatnot.
    and I think she was not happy with me when i exchanegd the Trevi for the neverfull and Speedy 30.
    I honestly think thats why she was being snooty with me. I mean, the fact is, all the SA's there were pretty snooty and she was teh snootiest of them all.
    I am planning to take it to another LV store, even thouh i have to drive 70 miles to get there. I do not believe for one second that LV will not stand behind its product/quality! My husband told me, if you dont really look close, you wont notice it. and if youre not too finicky, you wont mind. i told him, Uh-uh, if it was any other bag (talking about non-designer, non-higher end designer bags), i would not mind so much, but the fact that its LV, i refuse to accept that its not up to par with their excellent quality standards.
    Hopefully the Manager at that other store will be more accommodating...

    That sucks! I actually noticed the lock on my graffiti speedy was messed up when I bought it but I didn't bother going back. I didn't want them to think I was crazy LOL! Try going to another store make a bid deal of it! Don't give up! Their bags are so expensive they should be PERFECT!

    Great news! Yey! I went back to that store, and spoke with the manager (of Saks, where the LV store was) and told her, i understand LV is a completely diff store from you BUt here is the problem.... showed her what I was talking about and explained what happened with the LV mgr. She was apalled!

    Anyway, she took me down to the LV store, had one of the SA's exchange the bag for me and so now I have a new NFull and it's perfect!.

    The LV Sa was apologizing because when i showed her the original bag, she said, wow, that IS crooked, we have to send that back (i dunno... to get destroyed?)

    My friend was telling me, they shouldve given you store credit or a free bag. LOL, like that would happen.

    And I was just so happy they exchanged it, so I'm a happy camper now!

    Gosh what a palava! Glad you got it sorted though. One thing to remember is that LV bags are not hand made and are like mass produced so when purchasing its always advisable to thoroughly check the bag/item for imperfections.

    I know that they are expensive and a premium is paid to own LV products but there is a quite a large markup from what the bag/item actually costs to make and its retail price so expense may not always mean quality its the brand you are really paying for...
