This handbag is well made and appears to be an authentic vintage LV. However, it is easy to be fooled these days, so I wanted other opinions from people who see real and fake LV items. Your help is geatly appreaciated.
Do you have better pictures of this bag? Other ones I am comparing this one to have a row of LVs right above the bottom strip of trim. There are also 4 rows of LVs and it looks like yours has only 3. There's a large size and a petite size. But the petite ones don't appear to have the strip at the bottom. Hmm... I'm also curious about the heat stamp.

Hopefully these pic's are better. I am still waiting for a better heat stamp pic. Also attached is the sellers description with a statement that it is GUARNTEED to be authentic. But we all know some seller's say anything to sell their goods. I find it strange that the only heat stamps are on the strap sewn to the purse and on the strap attached to the purse.

This handbag is listed as Vintage and is probably over 25 years old. I have an LV eyeglass case that is about the same age and is no longer sold at any LV stores. My vintage LV eyeglass case looks more like the cigarette case that is currently sold. My point is this handbag is not going to exactly match the large Noe that is currently sold. But it does conform to the LV monogram placement being symetrical from side to side and the stitching is very clean. Just thought I would ask if anyone has seen this vintage handbag before or if there is a way to confirm it's authenticity.

Did you post pictures of the heat stamp? What about the date code? I believe there should be a heat stamp on the strap and possible on the vachetta on the bottom band of the bag....I think the date code should be on the strap (under) where the hardware attachs to the bag....If the seller won't send you any other pictures, I'd pass.....if they really want to sell it, they'll provide additional pics.....does the interior have a pocket?
OOPS..........just saw the additional pics on the previous page...can the seller get them clearer? You really can't see the stamp.....My noe has a heat stamp on the strap and on the side.....ask the seller to use the macro button on their camera..(little flower)...Good luck.

Correct, that's why we're asking to see the heat stamp and date code.
Re: Louis Vuitton Handbag: Please authenticate this purse
Hi Ladies!
I am wanting to get this: one for my mother in law and the other for my sis in law as Christmas gifts... The seller has a high feedback, but I still trust the input of everyone here more so than feedback from random people, ya know?

Your help has been great. I heard back from the seller. Here is a pic of the heat stamp and more pic's of the bag. She said the bag is over 25 years old and she received it from a client who only buys from stores like Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf's. I have been doing research and noticed all of the large Noe bags listed on Ebay as vintage (20 years and older) only have 3 row's of LV's and the newer Noe's have 4 row's. The attached text file contains a few URL's for Vintage Noe bags currently up for bid on Ebay. You should be able to copy and paste the URL's into your browser and go directly to the item. Hopefully they are not all fakes. Thanks again for your input and expertise.
