    Default Can someone please help me authenticate my bag?

    I posted it in the authenticate this forum but I got no help so far..and i want to purchase it this weekend..
    any help would be really appreciated!

    It looks good to me. The pieced bottom corresponds to the date code as well. I used to own the Cabas Piano, it's a nice bag.

    Hello everyone. I have been given this bag by a friend and would like to find out whether it is real or not. It's a messenger bag that has been used as a nappy bag by her.

    Default Uh Oh! Did I buy a fake LV Saumur on ebay? Opinions please!

    I just bought this bag on ebay but have not got it delivered yet. I was really excited and assumed (silly I know) that it was real until a friend said "I hope so." I have always bought my LV bags from the stores but I was wanting something vintage. Now that I have peeked around and looked at some of the readers comments and info I am worried it might not be real. Any advice or opinion would be greatly appreciated. Going to have to educate myself a bit more I guess before I do the vintage/used thing. Thanks for anyone's thoughts!

    They don't show the date code, but say it is AR8811. I thought they didn't start that format until 1990.
