I know some bags dont have one. It depends how old your bag is and what style it is.

I'm not sure with that one. Did you check underneath the D-ring?

^^ You should post pics of your bag.

*Try checking the seams and the seams of the inside pocket.

I would assume it's in one of the corners. If it has an inside pocket it might be in there as well. With Vernis, the heat stamp is in the actual leather, there's no extra tag. They're also hard to read, so look carefully.

I'd just bought the Wilshire Pomme 2 weeks ago. Like you, I'd searched everywhere but cld not find it. I even called LV Starhill and the SA told me shd be inside the zipped pocket, however, I didnt see it too. em.. FUNNY!

Cld it be that Wilshire has no datecode?

Hey gals, after I posted my comment last night. I took out my Wilshire and checked again and ALAS, I finally found the datecode!!!! Not easy though, cos the imprint is very swallow and at the corner.

Imagine you are facing your Wilshire brass plate. The date code is "hiding" at the top RIGHT hand corner, @ the seam there. (the crumple area where they sewn the seam together). Very light swallow imprint.. YOU NEED TO SEE WITH A TORCH LIGHT!! haha...

I cld see mine was dated 2029 = 22nd week of 09. But cld not even view where it's manufactured, cos it's hidden!! (sewn). em..

So gals, good luck in finding your datecode.

That's awesome. I had a Wilshire (recently let her go), and now that I think about it, I never took the time to look for the datecode.
