Yeah i suppose its best to have it done on a luggage tag that can be easily replaced if necessary!

You are so right!! I think it makes sense to have it done on a luggage tag. I mean so you can tell if something is yours right away. But on a bag... I think it will just ruin it!

Besides heatstamping there is also customization, they can paint letters, numbers and certain symbols on bags and luggage. However, this can only be done on iconic Mono bags and would need to be sent to NY or LA and can take up to several weeks even months. And it would be painted on the canvas (bottom right) versus the vachetta and this serivce is not free.
