Definately matching a bag with you're outfit is the way to go. The way I see it, there is no bad weather - just the wrong clothes.. and I don't think bags really come into this, as long as you're happy with how it looks, that's the main thing!

I totally agree with Karen. I wear mine to match my outfit as well, and I don't care what season it is! :gi67:

OK.. I know I'm a little late... but I was just in NY.. since Sunday... and I kid you not... the Azur Speedy is so popular there. Everyday I saw at LEAST 50 women carrying an Azur Speedy. And may I mention it was also very cold... very wintery and ice everywhere. I never considered the Azur collection a "winter" collection per-say but obviously it is. So popular in NY... 2nd most popular.. Damier Ebony Speedy 30... 3rd most popular Monogram Speedy 30.

I saw a woman carrying an Azur Speedy this past weekend in Las Vegas with a lovely winter white coat. It looked very chic! I think Azur is appropriate for all seasons, as long as you are comfortable with it. :)

if you only have a damier azur, I would use it.
Why would you use an other bag in the winter if you have a Louis Vuitton?

I'm also in the northeast and I think it would look absolutely fine, I wouldn't think to myself, hey what's that light colored bag doing out amidst all this snowy cold weather?! I don't think there are rules these days, I think it all goes. However even though I just said all that, I save my azur speedy 30 for spring/summer only so that I can have a new bag feeling every spring, lol. But I wear my dark mono all summer long w/out blinking an eye. I put my damier ebene away to sleep some time in the spring but I inevitably end up taking it out a few times bec. I miss it. As far as I know there is no fashion police out there picking off people for wearing 'assumed' seasonal colors, wear what you LoVe!!

I went and dug up a picture of me after I got my azur speedy last winter. I put on the ivory sweater on purpose for the picture, but I think that black actually looks amazing w/ azure and grays as well, love it!

I think you should wear it...I don't really think of it as a "summer bag"... i wear my purses to match the colors i wear...esp since you're up north!!!
