    Question Celebrating anniversaries

Are you supposed to give a gift to your SO on the half year mark...or just the year mark? Example: my bf and I will be celebrating our 2 and a half year anniversary next month, should I get him something then AND our 3 year anniversary...or JUST our 3 year anniversary??

I would say wait until the 3 year anniversary. Only celebrate the first 6 month milestone. JMO!

lol. so cute. we'll, since anniversary means annual then the event is celebrated on a yearly basis. BUT, i don't think there's anything wrong if you guys want to exchange gifts on the 2 1/2 year mark as well. Whatever you guys feel is right. More presents!

    Cool Re: Celebrating anniversaries

It's usually a yearly thing, but I say do whatever you want. It's up to the two of you.

I would think a yearly anniversary gift exchange would be sufficient. But it's really whatever you want to do. Wish my husband was that sweet. LOL!

I am pretty sure there will be something on that wishlist of yours that he can buy you...
At least you are planning ahead, so you can start saving now for a special gift to give him when the time comes.

We only do dinner for our anniversaries too - first date and wedding. We do big presents for Christmas. Both our birthdays are in January so only little presents then.

Your DH is so nice :) My DH is really good with presents, but I have to limit him sometimes cause we share a bank account and I manage our finances. I'm the more practical one.

    Hey,
I would also say that you should do the annual "sharing event"

What he should get you? If he does not know after 3 years nobody can help him any longer
What you should get him? Depends on his age, taste in clothing,...

But I suppose that some technical gadget would work perfect! How about the new IPhone 3G?
