Ever since I've joined tBF, I've become more educated (lol) in fashion. And when I'm with friends, family or the BF, I can not help but always point out someone's bag or shoes in a movie or on TV and what brand they are. For example, today we were watching Georgia Rule (which i didn't get to finish) and one of the characters had a Chanel tote and i'm pertty sure was wearing Louboutins...and i sorta just blurted it out

... my BF just kinda half-jokingly rolled his eyes and gave me a funny look...like everyone else does. But I can't help it!!!!!!!!

I do it all the time!

Anyone else?

Guilty too!! I think regardless of what it is...whether it's cars...or bags.....when you are aware of these things.....you do tend to do that.......I had a lady at my church the other day to come show me a Coach bag she says her hubby let her "splurge" on......He told her...go ahead babe....you only live once.....I wanted to speak up and say.....Honey......I hope you know you splurged on a FAKE bag.....i bet she could see my eyes bulging out of my head!! LOL

I know it's not the same exact thing in the thread.....but my point is....you do become aware of handbags....and who's carrying what...and the brand it is....and of course...my point here......whether it's fake or not.....

I can now spot a fake Dooney or Coach a mile away. Louis Vuitton I can...but not from a mile.....it's just because I only have one Louis and I'm not as familiar with those bags yet.....

Hmm... I don't really see a whole lot of bags that are to be recognized where I live. Its mostly cheap stuff that people buy at purse parties, Guess, KVZ, or the occasional (authentic) Coach. I see TONS of fake everything from LV to Chanel to Coach to Prada.

I am aware of the bags, I'm more pointing out to my husband that they are fake though.

I do the same thing!! LOL! Sometimes if I see a bag on someone I like or I am trying to see if it's real or not...I can't help but stare - but I don't want the girl to think I'm like checking her out or that I'm a lesbian!! HAHA!

And I point out the fakes!

where ever I go I always look what designer handbag does the people around me have, thats my habit now.

LMAO! omg, i do the same thing Jess! i can't help but stare at someone's bag to either identify what designer it is, tell if it's fake or real, or if it like it. And then I have to force myself to stop looking because I also don't want them to think I'm checking them out....
