LOL! Yeah, I know what she meant. I don't have to worry too much about that though.

He used to be obsessed with video games, but he hasn't gotten any new ones for awhile now. Sheesh.... the last time he played 11 days straight until he finished the game.

Re: So, we went out tonight.
hahhaha well I don't know...but I can totally relate to being molested in the middle of the night while i'm half asleep. Ughhh I hate that!!!
but for example - right now I'm on my laptop and he is on my nintendo DS playing Mario. yep...great weekend right? Oh and yesterday he went out to skate with his friends and then someone had a great idea to drink beer out of plastic bags and straws all day. hahaha...it is funny but so disturbing. men are so immature!! for life!! i mean he is 28!
bRs - I know what it's like when the night doesn't go as swimmingly as you wanted. it happens though...i have just learned to lower my expectations. haha.

Well, we got there and the restaurant was gone. I guess they closed awhile ago, but it had been so long since we had been down there. My husband really wanted seafood, so we looked around for a place. We came across this restaurant that said Lobster, Crab, and Seafood on the sign. We went inside only to find the cheesiest decor ever! We're talking plastic fish on the walls and fishing nets hanging from the ceiling! We stayed and ate there, but it was hard to get over how ridiculous this place was. LOL!
Anyways, afterwards we went to a movie... okay, that was fine. Then my husband wanted dessert. So we went and got ice cream. And now here I am... home, staring and the computer. He's in the living room watching the cartoons he had to record so he wouldn't miss them tonight. ::sigh::

Awwwww man, I am really sorry to hear this...I was hoping the husband would have something beautiful and romantic to show for all the hard work and OT he has been putting in. You know like on the movies when everyone forgets that person's bday because they have all secretly planned this huge, festive suprise party. I guess thats why its TV...
So maybe he will get you two handbags to makeup for it or is that not happening either?
I am sorry about your anniversary dinner....

Re: So, we went out tonight.
lisahmoore - Two handbags? Two?! Yeah, I don't see that happening.
Nashville - It was alright. The food wasn't all that I would have hoped it would be. Hehe... this place was way cheesier than Red Lobster. And the food wasn't all that spectacular. We did stop inside an antique store for a bit though. It sort of reminded me of a few years ago when my husband was obsessed with finding a pretty jewelry box. We went to antique store after antique store. Little did I know the true reason behind all his madness. He had wanted a jewelry box to put my engagement ring in... you know, to surprise me. Well, he ended up having to order a Sorrento music box (which are fairly expensive since they have all the fancy wooden inlays). This is sort of what it looks like:

Anyway, we came home... rushed the dog around the block since it was going to rain. Then we raced over to the movie theater to see the movie. So I guess I enjoyed the evening enough... I just wish he wouldn't have needed to watch his missed TV shows right when we got home.

Ahh love Naruto.
How was the food though? Sometimes its the cheesy places that have the best food.
ETA: Had no idea this question was already answered. :P
But the antique hunting sounds awesome.

Re: So, we went out tonight.
I'm not big into seafood... My hubby and I love burgers ... Give us a big juicy burger any day and we are happy... So worse case scenario we just do mcd's ...
On my birthday we were both real hungry around Harrison, AR which is only about 35 miles outside of Branson... Well we ate all you can eat kfc chicken buffet... I didn't know kfc had buffets!! I was hoping for a steak dinner... But that was good enough...
I am glad you enjoyed the night though... Maybe slowly you can get him to buy you bags... That is what you like after all!

Re: So, we went out tonight.
^^^ Yeah, hopefuly... one day. LOL! That's my problem though, he totally hates the idea of me liking handbags. I like other things too... like clothes and jewelry, but he refuses to buy those too. He always says I have enough of those things so why does he need to buy them for me as gifts. Well what did he expect? That I'd want electronics and power tools. Sheesh...

Re: So, we went out tonight.
my hubby was watching me last night and I got out my itouch and my marilyn (I got her out of the louis vuitton box and stuffed her with some of the coach tissue that came in my new bag ... And then I had my braided handle coach and my mini skinny...
He was like... You are spoiled... I need to stop buying you stuff...
I think that when someone gets you a gift it should be what YOU want, not what they want you to have... With the exception of suprise jewelry or something...
Could you get some fancy jewels from him???
