Lisahmoore, I wouldn't say poor husband as well... I had my husband read the thread and he himself went like "WTF"... so it's not just TBF that's putting him down... I'll give him a bit of credit though for ringing up.. but then again all men are different... and you're lucky your DH is very sweet.

yea BRS, spend time together like do something fun... sometimes when my husband and I have a misunderstanding, I write him a letter to let him know what I feel as he's not much of a good listener when it comes to emotional sort of girly feelings stuff... but other than that he's the best husband ever. And with letters, he listens. So I reckon find a sort of common ground that you can understand each other... I'm totally getting you about the special days, men tend to forget but they make up for it, it's not the material things but the thought that they remember... :)

Yeah, I totally hear you. I'll see what I can do about trying to have a conversation with him without making him feel criticized or b****ed at. If I have to write him a note, I will. Also, I never had expected anything from him other than a card. He knew it was our anniversary too because I had been talking about it all week. Remember, we discussed waiting until the weekend to go out for dinner? I just don't understand why he couldn't have at least stopped somewhere on the way home and got me a card. What does that take? Ten minutes?

I hear you love... IDK... look, just make the most out of the situation... and try and make things better. I hate having heartaches so I know how you must be feeling now... and of course, if you need anything, we, tBF girls are here and will stick together.

Yep, someone just started abbreviating it like that and it stuck. Now everyone just says BRS.

I think I started bRs. It reminds me of a monogrammed sweater.

    by Wikipedia:
A monogram is a motif made by overlapping or combining two or more letters or other graphemes to form one symbol. Monograms are often made by combining the initials of an individual or a company, and may be used as recognizable symbols or logos. A series of uncombined initials, such as "TCM", is properly referred to as a cypher and is not, strictly speaking, a monogram, although ciphers are frequently referred to as monograms.
A sweater, pullover, jumper, or jersey is a relatively heavy shirt intended to cover the torso and arms of the human body (though, in some cases, sweaters are made for dogs and occasionally other animals) and typically to be worn over a shirt, blouse, T-shirt or other top. Sweaters tend to be, and in earlier times always were, made from wool (typically of sheep, though possibly of alpaca or other type); however, they can be made of cotton, synthetic fibres, or some combination thereof. Sweaters are maintained by washing, and the use of a lint roller.
