About the donations and such, I'm going to set up an account tomorrow. What if we had it like where if you donate $10 or more than you get a goodie bag (that way I'm not putting together like 100+ extra goodie bags for those people who say their going but can't make it or whatever). And if you donate $50 or more your name will be thrown in the drawing pool to win one of the fabulous bags we will be giving away. (hint: there's going to be more than 1 handbag giveaway )

Also, does it matter if we are planning on going (paying for one's self of course), but we still want to donate? Would that be alright?

I think the donations are going for goodie bags and stuff so that Jennifer doesn't drop a lot of her personal $$ only to be stiffed and left with 1,000 bags full of stuff she can't unload.

I just thought of something.. Okay if you filled out the forum thingy on this page (http://www.bagbliss.com/chicago-july-2009-meetup/), you see that I asked what time is best for you:

early - mid - late

The meet is definitely going to be on a weekend. Like a 3 day event or something.

I think we might have to scratch "early" off the list since I'm sure most people are going to be on vacation or busy during the beginning of the month, right? Holiday - Independence day.

So it looks like mid or late then huh?

Also about the Oprah show - I think it's going to be really hard to get a reservation. I just read this on their site:

I thought maybe with Oprah if you called and told them what kind of group was coming maybe they would give a plug on air or something - I don't know.

okay so it's sometime in July 2009? in Chicago? well depending on if I am still living in VT and have the same job or not - we'll see. I can't make any commitment yet. The donation thing is a good idea - but you'll have to bare with me for a bit since I am still way low on cash for a few months.
