Re: TBF MEET - pick the city
I think everyone should at least check out Chicago. The flight+hotel rates thru Southwestvacations.com are super cheap and everything is so close there. They have major shopping within walking distance, or you could take the train or a cab. It is a cheap vacation so there is more $$ to spend on BAGS!!
Just a thought!

Re: TBF MEET - pick the city
I won't be able to go, but here's my thoughts:
1) NYC is a great city! Lots of great shopping, easy commute to/from the airport...you don't have to drive...
2) Houston is lovely as well. There is a lot of great shopping there. Downside: YOu might need a car to get around...when I went there, I drove. So, I got around by car. Also if you are going in the summer, those of you from the north east/ northwest / midwest might not be used to the heat. My first summer that I went to Arkansas (similar to Houston in climate) I actually got heat stroke (I went from 70 degree weather in MI to 100+ in the area I was at)...
3) LA : Never been, but always wanted to go there.
4) What about VEGAS??? There is so much to do there, and the shopping is great as well. I know there are a lot of cheap fares to Vegas as well
5) Chicago: those of you in certain cities can take an Amtrak to Chicago (and NYC as well) which makes this a good alternative. I like NYC better, though.

Re: TBF MEET - pick the city
^ Yeah! Vegas would be good to go to because of the shopping, and everything is so close together.. but the weather during the summer (mostly June-September/October) is KILLER.
