I saw the movie.. and I don't recall. I was drooling over the LV's and Hermes Birkin's in the movie.

Carrie has an alligator lime green birkin... and a LV limelight.

And this bag isn't for me at all.. but there is also an LV firebird... in the movie.

I honestly don't watch it for a fashion sense... I get really into it. I live by Sex and the City. I've missed this show for so long.. and then it's like it answers all the questions.. the last episode left.

You are making me want to go see it again today! LOL.. I can not wait for the DVD!!!

I bought seasons 1 and 2 when they were half off at Best Buy, and season one came with a free movie ticket. I bought seasons 3-5 on Wal-Mart.com and they were about $15 each - if you have them shipped to your nearest wal-mart and pick them up, you don't have to pay shipping!

i was not a fan of carries birkin, mainly because i recalled the episode where sam ordered one under lucy lius name and got bitched out and carrie didnt like them. plus it was so small it looked funny and i never would have pegged carrie for a birkin girl, charlotte maybe.

I used to watch the show waaaaaaaaaay back when. But we didn't have HBO after that. The movie got a really bad rating by the movie critics, but I'm sure the movie isn't quite that bad. It just simply said you had to be a hardcore SITC fan in order to get anything out of the movie.

Ya Samantha ordered a red one in that episode. But... do you remember the episode where Carrie bumps into Nina Katz (she dated Aidan after Carrie) in the ladies room she gave her this weird look. Carrie started thinking Nina Katz was talking crap about her and started worrying. THEN Carrie purposeably goes to the market in Soho because she knew Nina would be there. She had on a Green Dress, With Red Heels and a Blue Birkin! Carrie has actually worn a lot of Birkins in the show. She also has a Maroon Alligator Birkin in the 3rd season I believe.

I just saw the movie and I liked it. It kept me occupied for two and a half hours and we were the only ones there (hubby and I) ...

I will buy it when it comes out on DVD...

Hubby said he's burned out on SATC...but he's glad he saw the movie because he finally found out Big's name and Sam's real age...

We finally went to see the movie tonight. Loved it!

There was a 6 or 7 year old in the theatre with us. My husband got up after the first sex scene and talked to management. They actually pulled the child and mother out of the theatre. Don't know if it was legal, but it was neccesary. People were clapping when they left.
Stupid people who should be sterilized...
