Do you purge your closets every season?

I can't believe how much stuff I am getting rid of. I just went through my closet (which is teeny, tiny) today and there are tons of things I have never worn. Ridiculous.
Off to the consignment shop tomorrow.

I just give stuff away to charity... and its usually a lot of clothes every year that comes out of my closet! LOL!

Dh and I give to Purple Heart on a regular basis. It's great - they come right to the front door.

Remembering to get everything together when dh forgets to tell me they're coming until the morning they're showing up, however, is another story!

I've never sold on Ebay. I don't have the time or patience to learn how to post pictures and list. I like the idea of consignment or donating.

12 contractor cleanup bags (65 gallon bags!) went to Goodwill a few months back, and in the midst of my purge forgot to actually save some things to wear - I didnt own enough to give away that much and that hefty donation ended up costing me a pretty penny in new clothes! We try and give stuff away when we can, but new never worn things (happens often) get sold on ebay in bulk lots or given to Dress For Success.

Except its the local diabetes association who comes to our door. They don't really come seasonally, per se. So, it's not like we purge the closets seasonally.

me too. except for my highend designer stuff clothes. those I hang onto ..
