Have you got your mom anything for Mother's Day yet? Or if you're a mom, do you know what you're getting?
I got my mom this photo album and I'm taking pictures of our house (since we're gonna be moving), our pets, and our immediate family. I bought letter stickers so I wouldn't have to write the descriptions, lol. I bet she'll cry when she gets it, she's emotional like that.

I got her a Dooney & Bourke tote. She likes D&B and wants that giraffe print plastic stuff but I don't have the $$ for that now, so I found a good substitute. She already got it (she lives 800 milse from me so I had it directly shipped there to her) and she loves it!
I got my mom a LV speedy 25 and the kids got her a gardenia pot that will be shipped through Proflowers.com.
And then I'm getting 2 homeade crafts (does it get any better? )
And my hubby got me a LV speedy 25 (since I liked my mom's so much) and a black LV Mahina Amelia wallet, which I received today and is too big imo.

I won't be here for Mother's Day So we had a cookout at my sister's house last Sunday. My mom said no presents this year, because she doesn't need anything. Plus, she's really hard to shop for because she is picky, and if she doesn't absolutely need something then she doesn't want it. Very hard to shop for. She is, however, a HUGE card person. She LOVES them (I don't really see the appeal), so I got her a really sweet card. When I go to Mexico this weekend for 10 days I'm going to look for a Mexican blanket or something of the sort for her. My parents haven't been in so long that I think she would love to have something from there to remind her of being back there!

I got my mom a coach hamptons purse in black. She already got hers last month lol, when i went to visit her. Im currently in Nebraska and she's in Texas. She loved it!!

She wanted MAC brushes... So we (father and I), bought her a Blush Brush, Eyeliner Brush, Foundation Brush, and Powder Brush... yeah, they were pretty pricey... each was like $30+, except for the eyeliner brush which was $20 some...
She also likes wind chimers for our deck/patio... So I got her a pretty fairy and butterflies one... I'm making her a card, like I do every year! and she'll get the typical, dine out dinner.

Gee... you girls sure are generous! LOL! I'm getting my mom this little ceramic plaque I found with the coolest Irish blessing on it. Not the traditional one, this one is different. My mom collects Irish stuff, so I thought it would be nice. Plus I have no money so the $10 spent on it works for me! LOL!
My mother-in-law will probably be getting a plant. I'll try to find something cheap. LOL!

wow...my mom and granny don't like me to spend lots of $$ on them. so i went to proflowers.com and got my mom flowers & chocolate and my granny flowers (which 10% is donated to a cancer foundation - which she recently went into surgery for bc she had a relapse but she's okay now!!). but still - for two flower deliveries in total it was $120...and about $50 was for the delivery alone!!! sheesh.

Dont feel bad... My generosity stems from guilt because I haven't seen mom in six months and I haven't offered to fly her down... Life gets so hectic and sometimes its easier just to spend a wee bit more than you can afford to make your mom smile...if we lived close she'd get a meal at the restaurant of her choice, and a card...

My mom was so amazing when I was young and so I love being able to spoil her when I can. She's one of those gals who just won't do it for herself so my step dad and I do.
