oh... awesome! Brazilian Juijitsu is fun... but man must you have strength... unlike taekwondo, where strength is good, but its all about precise technique.

That place you train at looks pretty cool....

Very cool! I got my brown belt in Judo and walked away with everything still in tact. Love knowing I can defend myself if need be, but was really tired of the black eyes and bruises.

LMAO!! Viva! BJJ is all about NOT using strength!! Its all about technique!! The whole purpose is for you to take the bigger person down on the ground to take away his Strength and neutralize his ability to strike you (good for rape prevention).

heres an example, TKD blackbelt vs. BJJ blackbelt : YouTube - rorion gracie vs taekwondo black belt challenge

Ps- The guy in the black shirt is TKD and the guy in the white "gi" (uniform) is BJJ.

Hmm... Yes, I agree on Technique of course... but since I have practiced Juijitsu... I've noticed that in a "real" situation, a girl "my weight and height", will struggle with a say 250lbs. 6 ft. guy....

Yes, submissions do work, but you really do need the strength. It must be present... If I were to grapple a bigger guy who's stronger, I can put up a fight... but the larger person will over power a woman...

and yes, it's a great "rape scene" defense...

Taekwondo... a good kick to the gut can knock the wind out of somebody, no matter what the size...

You need strenght for just about any martial arts. But Ill PROMISE you that if you keep at it and gotten a blackbelt in Jiujitsu..You can take out an average 250lbs guys that doesnt have any jiujitsu background ANYTIME.

Im 160lbs and I have made 200+ pound guys that are "stronger" than me tap out in pain. lol and on that note.....Ive been tapped out by 100lb female blackbelts before (NO SHAME!!) lol.

I have straight hair. i few years back, i had it permed. i thought it looked good and everyone was like so amazed to see an asian girl with curly hair. but i really love my straight hair - curly hair was a pain to take care of in my experience. and everyone loves my hiar the way it is - i get a lot of compliments. so i don't think i'd change it. its my personal prized possesion, lol...

Yeah... I don't have a belt in Brazillian Juijitsu... I just did it for fun, for about a year or so, too. Now Taekwondo is another story....

Anyways, back to HAIR!!!!

Biosilk does the trick for me... I dap on a bit to moist hair, let it air dry, and then I straighten it out... It doesn't damage my hair, and it controls the friz!!!

Oh no angel! Has it grown out any or did it just stay like that afterwards? I had a friend who got a perm that made her hair wavy, and when her new hair grew those were wavy too, and she hated it!
