It must be moron month.
I bought a pair of jeans on Ebay and the seller lives less than 5 minutes from me. So I tell her I'll paypal her the money and then pick up the jeans. She says "sure, no problem". So I paypal her (minus the $9.50 shipping charge). She actually emails me back and tells me I owe her the shipping charge. I remind her that I will be picking her up and she says she doesn't care, she wants the shipping charge anyway. WTF?
First off, $9.50 for a $4.60 ship is crazy but then to demand the money even when I'm picking them up???
This is the 3rd complete moron I have encountered this month. Must be something in the water or the way the stars are aligned. At this point though, I'm no longer being nice. I've had it. Neg me all you want. My feedback will be much nastier in response.

I have a friend that deals with alot for Ebay Buyers and sellers for Business and the things she tells me is downright shocking!!! Theres so many shady people on ebay!! Not to mention the idiots that are just plain rude and mean.
Yeah, don't you ever watch court TV shows? LOL! They have e-bay transactions gone bad on there all the time!

Make the girl mail you the jeans then start a complaint against her to rattle her up a bit then drop it...you can complain of too high shipping...just get her a little upset for being difficult
I have had mostly good luck with ebay... I bought a couple of suits on there when I first got out of school and no one was shady...
If I were you, I wouldn't leave nasty feedback. Sellers/buyers will look at your feedback and see what you've left and what you've received. What feedback you leave says alot about you.
Also, I would just have her mail the jeans and try to avoid a complaint.
Just try to be patient and nice with the person even though they are difficult.

I have been blessed with knowing some wonderful and trustworthy sellers. I am thankful I haven't had that problem in my 7 years of being on there. I think what she did was make the price lower then what she wanted them to be and decided to make up for that on the shipping. This way the lower price will attract buyers but she will get what she wants at the end. I am so sorry. She sounds crazy. I wouldn't want her to know where I live, good thing your picking them up. I would not get those anymore unless they are very exclusive.
I told her I wasn't going to pay for them as her shipping charges were unethical and that she could relist them with my blessing. I then clicked on the "sent payment" tab so she couldn't list them again for free.
I then told her that it was going to cost her the same amount for final and relisting fees as the shipping she was charging me. Karma sucks sometimes.
