So I was sitting at home on Wednesday afternoon, when my bank calls me from the Loss Prevention center. They tell me that somebody in Toronto deposited an empty envelope of over $1,000 into the bank machine into my account and took out $500! And obviously, it's gonna bounce back! I was then in overdraft, so I guess the bank decides to transfer money from my savings into my chequing! I'm so mad, why would people do this? I know the bank will give me my money back because it's not my fault, but I'm so scared to use my debit in places. I usually don't carry cash because I always seem to overspend. I already changed my pin number and got a new card and hopefully this all goes away soon!

Anyways, the good news is that I got lots of money back from my taxes, and I think I might go splurge it on a new purse!

How awful. Did you loss your card or something? Is that why they were able to deposit it into your account? sorry to hear that happened to you..
