I loved the Mist... I read the short story in Skeleton Crew by King... So I was waiting forever for the movie... It was perfect... and a great ending (the ending in the book is different)...
Umm... I saw the Orphanage yesterday, I liked it a lot... I can't stop thinking about it... it's freaky!

Re: Movies!
We saw Zohan tonight. It was weird. I wouldn't recommend it. There were funny parts, but for the most part, it was an uncomfortable movie.

I couldn't stop crying at the end of The Orphanage. SPOILER ALERT...
As a mother with a son, I cannot imagine what that would have been like. Plus the little boy looked like my son
I thought Lars and the Real Girl was really good too. Very sweet.
Am going to watch SATC tomorrow with my mothers group along with babies! So not sure what that's going to be like. lol

Re: Movies!
I finally saw Sex and the City...sooo good!!! I know I am late and everything but I was out of town when it premiered and half of my girlfriends went and saw it right out the gate so it was almost impossible to find friends who hadnt seen it already. Let me just say that I didnt watch this show when it was out on HBO and I had started to watch it as it was syndicated so I was watching it on regular television and it was all clean. I was sooooo shocked to see all the nudity and raw sex scenes...this movie was rated what? But my sister reassured me that this was how it was on HBO...nevertheless I laughed, cried and laughed all in one picture. My friends and I are having a rerun party and we are all going together to watch it next weekend, matinee and grabbing some dinner afterwords. I will def purchase this movie when it makes it to DVD...
A must go see.

Re: Movies!
Please I advise you to stay away from "the Happening".
I usually like M. Night Shyamalan but seriously, you will walk out more confused and disgusted than anything else.
I really want to see Sex in the City though. Any thoughts?

Re: Movies!
We don't do the theater much, it hurts my RLS to sit that long, but RodBox favs...
Invisible (it's a strange one, a bit older)
We bought I am Legend, when he was yelling at "Frank" for being moved, I had a panic attack I think. It freaked me out!!
P.S. I love you, so sadly sweet
27 Dresses was OK
Super Bad! NOT for kids in ANY way!! OMG!
I really want to see Strangers (I think it's the name) the creepy one being advertised.
And I know lots of ppl are downing No Country, but OMG... I friggin loved that movie!! Just think about it. The bad guy finally got away. How awesome!! JMO

Re: Movies!
I saw The Strangers recently...I would wait to rent it, to be honest. It was scary and made me jump...but it felt short since it all took place in a house.
SATC is sooo good! I laughed so hard during this one part my eyes were watering. And it makes you cry a little. The fashion is amazing in the movie!!

My fella and I just finished There Will be Blood
Good movie, brutal at times but I bet during the time of drilling for oil in America's history, there were shady, greedy people.
