We took the kids to San Antonio yesterday and passed 2 awesome outlet places on the way. Since I am budgeting heavily and not buying anything for the next month, I sat in agony while we drove past.
Pathetic but true.

LOL! I hear you! My husband seems to have this unrealistic idea that I'm not going to spend a bunch of money while we're in Florida. He knows better though!

Well, at least San Antonio was great, wasn't it???! I love San Antonio!!!!
Oh ya! We took the kids to Sea World. They had a blast. And then we had dinner at Teka Molino, my absolutely favorite Mexican place in the world. I was a happy girl. Of course I could see the fabulous Northpark Saks 5th Avenue out the window while eating. That didn't help.

Why the shopping ban? When u r deprived of something u love, it only makes it worse and u end up binging more. Wouldnt u have been happier to go in and buy a small trinket like a cute mini skinny or something on sale?

Well...... I'm on a shopping ban because 1) my 5 yr. old dd just had a root canal and crown which cost serious cash, 2) we bought a new car last month, 3) we're having renovations done on the house in less than a month and I'm hoarding for that so it will be done right, 4) I promised myself that I wouldn't buy anything until I was back in shape, 5) I need to pay for 4 accupuncture treatments and new supplements for my 4 cats on Friday.
So buying frivilous things right now defeat the purpose of the ban. I am trying to prove to myself and my husband that I can hold off and spend the funds on needed things.
