Re: Weight Loss Journal
For lunch I had a grapefruit and a tuna sandwich on wheat (and NO mayo). Dinner is going to be grilled chicken breast with no condiments.

Re: Weight Loss Journal
I agree! I think its good to have ONE splurge day a week. heck, I do!!
On my splurge day, I would stuff my face with either pizzas, burgers, Buffets, fast food, or maybe even all of the above!! (joking!!...).

Re: Weight Loss Journal
Hey GUY, is oatmeal good on a diet? I bought a variety box of different flavors. I know plain is way better for you but oh well.

Autummn Wheat cereal and a big glass of water. After I clean the bathrooms, oh joy, I'm heading in to the eliptic for an hour.

Re: Weight Loss Journal
PLAIN Oatmeal is fine for breakfast once or twice a week. The variety kind tend to have too much sugar (check the label and see first..and let me know) But, dont over do it. Also, DOnt be adding honey, sugar or any of those junk in there to make the plain oatmeal taste better either!!

Re: Weight Loss Journal
Oh I have been reading all of the post ... you are all so funny !
Diets are hard ; my mother is on diet everyday
I feel lucky because I have never been on diet (Hum I am only 19 years old ) and I allow myself all my cravings ! I just force me to go to the gym 4 hours per week and to MOVE all day ! I can walk during hours! Also I always have a bottle of water with me, so I drink a lot and feel full
Anyway Good luck Alicia, BRS, Maeveyblue, samia and susie !
All your efforts will pay for the summer

I just sit here smiling because I thought the same thing when I was your age. You haven't had children yet or reached the age 30 metabolism meltdown.

Re: Weight Loss Journal
So I've ran/walked 3 miles this morning. The dogs are happy. I've had a frozen strawberry fruit bar and apple juice with Sunrider for breakfast.
Lunch will be sushi from Central Market on the run while bra shopping. Victoria's Secret here I come.

Re: Weight Loss Journal
::sigh:: I'm not doing so well. I probably shouldn't post what I ate today... or yesterday. I know I shouldn't blame other people, but my husband has been home and he makes it SO hard to stick with the good stuff because HE wants to go out to eat.

Re: Weight Loss Journal
You guys r motivating me to try to get slimmer. I sit at a desk all day and by the time I get home I am so mentally drained. My husband and I walk but I need to get to the gym. How do u find the time to work, be a wife and cook and clean and stay slim? Ugh. Tomorrow its turkey bacon a whole wheat bread and cottage cheese for breakfast and a lean cuisine for lunch and dinner... Sigh

BrS - haha, don't feel bad. I wasn't that good today either. here it goes...
Lunch - 1 piece of grilled chicken that had been marininated in Italian dressing and a side of rice au gratin. ok, so lunch wasn't too bad i guess...
Dinner - we defrosted some leftover home made sauce and made some pasta.
oh, and i was in the mood to bake so i baked some brownies earlier today. i had one and a half pieces.
well, tomorrow is another day, lol.
