Re: Conservation and Biodiversity
I took a science class last year were we conducted studys on a NAP about 20 minutes from our school. It is one of the only remaining undeveloped areas in that part of Spokane and its basically surrounded by developments so our studys looked into how the development was affecting the biodiversity. Some people did studys on the weeds and precence of noxious weeds, animals and their habitats. Mine was about lichen which is like a moss that can show air quility just by its presence. Anyways my school has been doing research on this NAP for about 3 years and we have published three science journals so I guess you could say we are working on the biodiversity and conservation.
