Ever have one of these days.... I went shopping with a girlfriend today and spent way too much money. I've been trying to budget lately but the clothes and bags called to me and I couldn't leave them there to be orphans, unloved, unwanted. You know how it is.
So I get home and figure, well, I'm show him what I got and he'll be happy because I'm happy and I'll promise to be a better budgeter. Well, that and I'll tuck away about half of what I got. And the receipt. We dont' have to be totally open and honest about the day.
So then I log onto my email and see that I have won 4 auctions! 4! I was thinking I'd be lucky if I won 1. But 4. And the total for those are OUTRAGEOUS! Shit.
So now I am off to think about what to tell hubby. He's understanding about my shopping sprees, but not this understanding.

ouch.. ya my boyfriend gets that *look* in his eyes when he sees ANOTHER package at the front door. i know exactly what he's thinking considering we are saving up for a house now...but it's an addiction!! i just got my 2 watches in last night - and now I'm having the other two packages shipped to work!! he always finds out when i'm wearing something new though.

those auctions are killer. i've fallen into the trap where i swear i wasn't going to win one so i bid on something else of equal value - then i get stuck in both! as far as winning i'm happy but financially - it stings. so i've started just clicking the "Watch" button on eBay because it gives me the feeling that i'm doing SOMETHING but i'm not in any binding contract to buy it. haha. i usually put items in my online shopping cart and get all the way to "Check Out" where I just then close the window and never return (happened yesterday on a $400 bag). it gives me a brief thrill and then costs nothing!

good luck with your man. usually my boyfriend stops being mad when i start trying things on. :)
