Well I'm at work now but about 30 minutes ago I was spinning across a busy 2 lane highway here in Vermont and slammed into a snowbank/divider. I basically sat there shaking and crying. I blacked out from hitting my head against the side window.
A nice man stopped and backed up on the highway to help me push the car out and get it back on the road. I don't know why I'm at work right now - I'm still shaking and my head is killing me. It's very possible I got a concusion.
Sorry to hear that! Go home and go to a doctor, don't make yourself stay at work if you might be hurt, even if you think you'll be ok just leave work so you can calm down and relax you don't need the added stress! I hope you feel better and that everything works out ok!
well my boyfriend is risking it and driving the 45 min drive down to pick me up. now it's basically raining ice!! i'm way too terrified to drive my car today so he's coming to get me (his boss was really cool about it) and make sure i don't fall asleep because we both are pretty sure it's a concussion.
i haven't told my boss yet - i just emailed him. i don't like to look like a drama queen but that was terrifying!!!
hey everyone!! thanks for the nice thoughts!! i'm back at work and doing well. my boyfriend came and picked me up from work. i left my car here. we went home i just relaxed and eventually the headache went away and i have a little bit of aching from the whiplash. i feel much better today and was given a ride in to work from a co-worker. so thanks for your wishes!!!
