I don't think it was her fault really... I mean, she was knocked out by the drugs and the dental assistant wasn't right there when it happened. They could have at least been watching her so she didn't leap out of the chair in her sleep.

Re: Ever have plastic surgery?
I am hitting the BIG 35 and thinking of taking the Botox plunge. I have a permanent wrinkle across my forehead. With all the news lately - I am too scared.... I also don't want to end up looking like Nicole Kidman (Freeze Face).

Re: Ever have plastic surgery?
one quick thing about Botox that I just recently found out (like a week ago) is that for EVERY Botox batch, they test it on an animal. apparently if the animal is paralyzed, the batch is good. if the animal dies, then the batch was too strong. so the goal is to paralyze the animals - that means it's a safe batch for US...
i'm a vegetarian - not really a crazy animal rights person - but ya know... i can't do that animal testing stuff. it kills me everytime.

Yeah, I totally agree. Especially when it comes to stuff like cosmetics. Poor little bunny eyes getting sprayed with hairspray and shampoo and makeup and...

Re: Ever have plastic surgery?
I thought America has this huge campaign against animal testing?
Where's your PETA?

Re: Ever have plastic surgery?
PETA can only do so much - I haven't fully looked into it or where it's actually being done (tests can be done overseas and then the product sent here).

Re: Ever have plastic surgery?
Unfortunately PETA has gone absolutely psycho. I mean, I'm all for animals rights and everything but they just don't go about things in the right way. They think any kind of attention is good... so they pull crazy stunts and then people just think they're nuts. So they're really not doing much to change people's views.

Re: Ever have plastic surgery?
I have had plastic surgery for cosmetic reasons. The facelift was great and very soft. No one knew. People just said I looked good ; I had recently lost 20 lbs. Shop your surgeons to LIKE a PHD. PROJECT.
I am now sceduled for a bilateral mastecomy due to breat cancer and will have reconstruction. This is a rough time for me. Everything will be ok.
Botox rocks. The most important thing is to take care of your skin. If you have a face lift with bad skin you will still have bad skin.
Do not smoke and do not bake in the sun.

Re: Ever have plastic surgery?
Wow susie what a story! I really am not lying but I think your nose looks really good, very cute! (by the way what a funny foto ) I am happy for you everything turned "well" I mean you had to go through all this experience, like somebody said, it has made you stronger!
Ho and the car !! hahaha at least that was a nice thing !!
About surgeries, my mother had ... almost ten surgeries the past 10 years ... it's ironic because she loves niptuck and says that's completly impossible recoveries so rapid and that the girls are obessed with surgery but ... she is kind of like that. I understand it can be difficult for some people to understand (I don't blame what she does but doesn't mean I agree with it) but she's Venezuelian and there everybody has surgery. I think half of the women of my HUGGGEEEE family there had surgery

Re: Ever have plastic surgery?
i never got cosmetic surgery. i don't think i'll ever get cosmetic surgery either.
i have a lot of relatives that had gotten it though. some good results and some ehhh...hehehe. all my life they've emphasized the importance of looks and beauty.....and so i was always self-conscious and aware of my physical appearance when i was young.
( just to think! i would work out so much when i was in 6th grade! 6TH GRADE! lolz)
but now i'm against giving physical appearances much importance.....although i still sometimes find myself caring. but i'm happy about how i look. :D
