After it was graded and the child brought it home, she returned to school the next day with the following note:

Dear Ms. Davis,
I want to be very clear on my child's illustration. It is NOT of me on a dance pole on a stage in a strip joint. I work at Home Depot and had commented to my daughter how much money we made in the recent snowstorm. This drawing is of me selling a shovel.

This is hilarious...the poor mom!!!

It reminds me of the time, my little son (he was 1-1/2) would say for everything "mommy did it". He was prone to falling and getting bruises often and would tell the daycare lady the next day "mommy did it". thank god she knew him better...or i would be in a whole load of trouble

I love the way a child's mind works,

One time, my little boy was at the front door with me when a salesmen was talking to me, and he tattoos all down one of his arms....

My son who was three at the time noticed all the tattoos and interrupted his sales pitch to say " You know my brother quit writing on himself a long time ago"

The guy was just silent, it was priceless!!
