Zombie I love your orchids!! I have pink ones as well, but only a single stem, and only a few flowers right now. They made their comeback from last year without me watering them at all, and getting sunlight through the blinds.

OMG! Jess, that is so funny! And you know what's funnier? I think I ended up with a hippo-butt picture from Sea World. What a coincidence! LOL! Perhaps that's just what hippos do. Put their butts towards us, I mean.
You know, I just about cried during the show. I was thinking how sad it was that these guys would never be in the wild and would die young there at Sea World.

Yeah, I just read that the average lifespan of an orca (killer whale) in captivity is 13 years. They can live between 40 and 60 years in the wild though. The original Shamu died in 1971, she was only 10.
