Packing up the Louis luggage... NYC this weekend

I promise I will update my bags collection when I get back! Haven't had time yet!

I'm actually online...looking out my window.... The winds are super strong and much rainfall... and thats because Hurricane Dolly isn't even in-land. Lots of nearby cities have lost their electricity and almost every single grocery store is out of supplies and canned food... no water left in the water mills... and seriously, almost all of the gas stations down here are empty! No gasoline!

Yeah... its sad. There's a lot of people going through h*ll right now... not to sound rude or anything but a lot of less fortunate people are really feeling this, and its sad. FEMA agency is down here, in case of evacuation. It was scary just seeing their trucks and agents arrive.

We've donated to the food banks already.

Wow, I've been out of town going on 2 weeks and I'm just on my blackberry checking the weather. I'm in Fort Worth at the moment, but my family and my home is in Mission and Mcallen

. I was at SPI for 4th of July week; it's crazy watching it on CNN taking a hit. Hope all is well Viva!

Once it hits land... a couple of hours since a hurricane can't "survive" without its fuel... which is water. A lot of hotel windows in cities towards the coast have shattered due to the winds, and trees have been falling all over the place too. My mother's lemon tree fell over, roots and all... she was pretty upset about that.

We had a tropical storm come through here about 6 years ago. It was a hurricane but then when it go to use it was a pretty strong tropical storm (or depression, can't remember) - we had tornadoes and stuff, and lots of wind. Our power went out, but only for a day, so that was good, because it was like 90-some degress out.

I'm watching, tv - just got back from the mall - and finishing packing
