I live in South FL... waiting for this storm to see what its gonna do. So far... just a tropical storm.. might turn into a Cat 1 Hurricane

My parents live in Ft. Myers and are gearing up right now for it too.
I'm sitting at home, watching the rain fall, hoping my son is having an awesome first day at school, and snuggling with my "1st grader" who is sick in bed and totally bummed that she couldn't go to school today. Poor baby.

I'm playing hooky from work..been doing so since thursday 
But I believe I deserve a vacation since school starts in less than a month, on my birthday no less!  And it's going to be a tough semester.  So I'm trying to relax and do nothing as much as I possibly can before I go into school mode. Plus, I've been working out since I've been home and feel a lot better!

Sitting here listening to my tummy growl...I am hungry and was hoping hubby would want pizza tonight but he wants sandwhiches and I guess that's what we will eat since we have everything we need right at home :-(
