Oh my gosh, I just realized that there is no 13th floor!!!!!! in any building!!!!!!!!

well i just saw the movie 1408 and they pointed out "no 13th floor." ...???? Then I was leaving the theater I stepped in the elevator and was like "OH MY GOSH," no really there isnt a 13th floor! I cant believe I've never caught that before.

My capital building has a 13th floor... but you need a key to go to that floor...

Nope, I have not been in a building yet that had a 13th floor. When I lived in Waikiki, none of the buildings there....25 years ago...had a 13th floor!

But, I have never been to New York...I keep checking to find a building that does have one though!

well, sometimes they dont put a 13th floor button in the elevator, or they use the 13th floor for storage, or they just call it 14. but any building that has more than 12 floors does have a 13th floor, technecally. (sp?)

That's crazy ... what about for buildings that are like 20 stories tall ?? O_o there'd still be an existent 13th story right.

well in my building there is 27 floors and there just isnt a number 12.. also in my bf office building (15 floors) there is a 12A in replace

there's a 13th floor in my son's hospital. But you are not allowed on there, I don't think. I think it's used for surgery or something, I just know that that floor is special. Same for M.D Anderson (my mom's hospital), there's something special about that floor there too........so it is true.

My dad pointed that out to me when I was younger during a vacation.... on the elevator to our room, he told me most buildings don't have a 13th floor... and as of now.... I've never seen a building with a 13th floor button....wierd, i know.
