I don't have a job! But this summer.... I'll get my first job... hopefully! I'm seriously excited about it.... my parents don't want me to work.... but I want to.... That means extra clothes, and accessories if I get a job! :D

Oh I know.... Employee Discount!!!! But i'm at the point where it's whoever hires me... you should see my resume... it's empty... and only academic section is good.... I have absolutley no experience and a school scuedule.... so that's why hardly anyone would want to hire me!

lucky you. my parents made me get a job when i was 16. oh, and they wouldnt even put me through drivers ed. yup...i had to wait until i was 18. and they complained all the time about bringing me to work...so stupid...but it was mostly my mom because, well, shes a bad person. but good for you that your parents dont want you to work..im guessing because they want you to concentrate on school...? but good for you and have fun shopping for the extras!!!

You would be surprised. Lot's of department stores will higher students. I had such a hard time finding a job when I moved out of my parents house when I was 17. A few years later I got my job at the store I work at now, I found out that they were hiring high school students!!! Plus there are tons of college students that work there too... funny schedules and all! I was mad because if I would have known that I would have tried applying there when I was 17 and noone would hire me. Oh well... just because you have no experience and a school schedule does not always bar you from a job. Seriously, try a department store.

I'm more excited than ever... my parents always disapporoved of me getting a job for reasons like...
a.) you need to focus on your studies, getting a job is going to take time away from your school work
b.) you don't need to work, we give you everything you need
.... so after trying to convince them for a looong time... they approved... and I got a job @... WALMART
I'm training to be a cashier.... yesterday was my first day, and it was the easiest money I ever made in my life!!!!! So since I have no bills and/or expenses.... I get to spend my $ however I want... (Can you say.... Louis Vuitton????)

Congrats! Trust me there is nothing more liberating than geting a job.....I honestly dont have any expenses either.....just my car payment and the rest is to spend however i please....My parents also never pushed me to get a job because they know the importance of school.....But im still going to school and working full time and Ive never been happier! So congrats again! And happy shopping!

Why was I so excited up above???!! I hate Walmart.... It was the worst job EVER!!!! Thursday is my last day there.... Since the fall semester is almost gonna start... i'm soo excited about school... anyways, it was the worst experience ever, and I can't believe I survived that!!!!
