    Default Thoughts on thrifting????

It's so funny because in my area and as I see so many times online, there is a massive stigma against going into a thrift store. personally, I love them. They don't look glamorous, don't have glamorous people, but I have found some killer designer deals and make a lot of money from them.

I LOVE thrift stores. The Goodwill near me carries new stuff from Target. I also found a small Coach hobo there once!

There are a few America's near me that are killer, and one Veteran's benefit group that is actually my favorite. I have found MK, D&G, and at the same one I have found a Kay Unger shirt with a $240 tag on it that I paid $2. A few great Vera Bradley bags for $2-4 as well, and a pair of Bjorn sandals 4" with gold straps that retailed for $85, I paid $7 and they were barely worn.

Also, I got a pair of pristine Sam Edelman shoes for $2.50. They were adorable.

Yeah, thrift store finds blow me away. There is a huge Catholic church 40 minutes away that has an annual rummage sale. In the furniture area, they have a lot of 1920's furniture and a few civil war pieces. I've found some great pieces there too like Kate Spade totes for $3, italian leather shoes barely worn, all sorts of foreign and domestic designer clothes, prom and wedding dresses you wouldn't believe. Thos church sales can be just as good if in the right area.

I personally don't. However, those who go to the thrift store around me are pretty lucky I do occasionally go to estate sales though. Antiques are my other hobby.
