Thread: horrible monday!!!

has any of u had a typical irritatin annoying monday morning? the rest of day goes bad too!!!

my monday started at 7 15am! left for work in a public transport cz car was with hubby,as i reach work,i realise i left my bottle and fruits behind,hoping the driver wud be honest and come back,he didnt!

then i get back home for lunch,kitchen is a mess ( my in laws are down for 2 mths) too many things going on and i had to pack hubbys tiffin...handed it over to out driver,after 5 mins it hit i left teh bread behind,called driver back he collected it..then hubby sent back tiffin sayin it was late and therefore he was upset

couldnt eat lunch in peace with in laws giving me a earful LOL

then gym,by the time i got there it was so packed!! had to wait...

now im here online...a stress buster! share any awful monday of urs!

My worst Monday was maybe a couple of years ago when that Monday, it poured heavily in the morning. When it pours, traffic just becomes a standstill. I was late to work and worse, my boss was looking for me early in the morning, he was not happy I was late. Turns out we had a murder case that we had to go to the scene to. So took a ride out to the scene. It was a deserted forest area with mud all around. Put on my wellies and carefully walked down, unfortunately a crime tech behind slipped and bumped into me, causing me to fall into the slimy, smelly mud face down
I had to shower quickly at the office and of course the post mortem for the murder took ages to finish. Just as I sat down to lunch, another case came in, a decomposed body with maggots, real nice
Thought once I got home, I can finally relax but no, 30 minutes after I got home, another case came in and family wants to claim the deceased ASAP. I had to go back to office, finished the case and came home to DS who's having a fever. Spent the rest of the night at the doctors' and sponging him down. Thank God, he was fine the next day.

^ Wow! That's awful! I can't imagine having to smell decomposed bodies.

^^I'm already kind of immuned to the smell (probably years of doing it has zapped my smelling ability) but on that particular day, I was a little bit annoyed as I've already had a sucky day and it was not improved by the sight of the condition the deceased was in as I was just about to have lunch. Especially knowing that I have to do the case later
