Their clothes are misfitted, horribly, too big and really dated. I feel for them.
That was my concern as well. I wouldn't think you could go wrong with Old Navy or Aeropostal.

I grew up in a neighbor hood with Hindu families (i'm assuming this family is Hindu), and i was good friends with a Hindu boy and his Mom, and i can tell you that modesty is viewed as being extremely important in that culture/religion. So i'd advise a gift card from the Gap, which if i remember correctly is also good at Banana Republic, Old Navy and Piperlime. They could get more at Forever21, but the clothing isn't of the best quality. Stuff from Aeropostale tends to be very tight fitting, i had to buy an XL size polo one time because that was the only thing that would fit me, and normally i wear a Small or Medium, and the stuff is also pretty expensive, $20-$30 dollars for a shirt and $45-$50 for a pair of jeans.

I don't know the stores over there, but I have a few Indian friends whom I know since school and even though the parents are conservative and wear traditional outfits, the kids just want to be trendy like everyone else. Nothing revealing (of course not for 13 and 15 year olds!) but cool nonetheless.

Well I'm India, had my cousins (one of whom is 16) come over in the last few months, and am going to India this winter so I thought I might be of some help. :) It really depends on which part of India they are coming from and their religious orientation. Some parts of India are very conservative and such, but those with more media influence have a lot of the same style as the US. So, just to be safe, I'd go with a safe medium (which I'm guessing other people would know better than myself). I know that whenever we go over there (this being a West Bengal side of India), people there LOVED jeans, and my sisters always get really sad when they have to leave some of their favorite pairs behind haha. And then I remember that when my sisters and mom were shopping for my cousin, they got her t-shirts, and pretty much the same you'd get a 16 year old here. I'm not as familiar with Eastern India, but I know Southern India has a lot of similar traits to West.
