A satchel is always my handbag of choice. I've been carrying around more shoulder bags lately, but if I had to choose between the two I would pick a satchel. I've always been obsessed with the Louis Vuitton "Speedy", and I think that's where my "satchel" obsession started.

A satchel that caught my eye is the L.A.M.B. "Ultraviolet" Embroidered Satchel. I love "almost" everything about this bag. I love the shape, style, and color of the bag. Even the logo embroidery accents the bag well, and doesn't make it look tacky.

I loved this bag as soon as I laid eyes on it because it reminded me of the Louis Vuitton "Mizi" bag that I was in love with a couple years back. It was a special edition and I was never able to get my hands on one. This bag has the same exact look as the bag, and L.A.M.B. did a fabulous job designing it.

The only feature I despise about this bag is the green accented color. The bag is absolutely beautiful and why green was added to it is beyond me. I would personally never purchase this bag, because I hate the color green. Having the color green featured on this bag ruined the bag overall in my opinion. Don't get my wrong it's still a stunning bag, but if you hate the color green as much as I do then you won't even look twice at this bag.

The L.A.M.B. "Ultraviolet" Embroidered Satchel can be purchased at Nordstrom for $375, which is a pretty decent price for a L.A.M.B. bag. L.A.M.B. handbags are usually pretty costly, so to see one under $600 is a shock! The bag is definitely worth the price, and if it wasn't for the added green color I'd probably purchase one. Too bad, one little color had to ruin the beauty of the bag.

I love this bag too!!!! But like you guys the plastic looking "Accent" colors throws it all off..... I would not buy it either.

I like the black and gray version the most. But I like both of them, but I don't love them.

Price has gone down, but so has quality and some of the great features that made me love LAMB when it first came out. The hardware is nowhere near what it was originally, no more "feet" on bags, interior nameplate changed from this:

to a plain imprinted leather strip sewn on the interior pocket.
. Handles are stiff and inflexible on some bags, and a change from leather to pvc!!

I rather pay more for a bag with higher quality details than some of the newer, less expensive lines.

The green is not good on this bag. I did pick up the Nikola Hobo in a blue with black accents (same line, but the smaller hobo) and it's not bad.

I like the all gray one, but the neon trim versions is too dated.
