Default What do you think of this Kooba?

I've been thinking about borrowing this Kooba 'Devin' bag from Bag Borrow or Steal, then buying it. This bag would only be $60.00 a month. I'm still debating on it though!

I love that bag.. especially in that color.

one q: how does the whole "stealing" part work.. do they like put what you've paid for borrowing towards the whole purchase?

I'm not sure. But they said in order to get a quote on what you'd pay, you'd have to borrow it. I'll email and ask - I've been wondering the same thing.

what? that sucks. basically that's means - pay $60 for us to tell you how much we will sell it to you for.

i guess i just dont get the whole idea of borrowing a bag.. maybe im missing something.. why not get a credit card and make payments. atleast you will be building your credit + you will own the bag.

i do love that bag though jess.

I just contacted Live Help there...this is what she said.

Me: I was wondering, if you borrow a bag, then decide to buy it, will that money from borrowing go towards your purchase?
Niki: Our Sourcing Department uses a number of different factors to determine the price, which includes the last known condition of the item, the age of the item,
Niki: customer demand, current trends, the rental fees you have paid, (however it is not a dollar for dollar discount) and the original MSRP.

I like this bag! And the color is pretty as well. I hope you find it and end up getting a good deal on it if you decide to buy it. If you do, let us know how the whole pricing situation worked out. I'm curious to know exactly how much of the rental fees go towards the price, etc...
Good luck Jess!

Nice bag! But don't you end up paying more for the bag this way, if you decide to keep it?

It's the whole bow thing. It reminds me of the big bows that women put in their daughter's hair here in Texas. The whole bigger the bow the better thing...
I'm anti bow.
