Default Re: Juicy Couture Handbag: Please help authenticate purse!

Thanks for the replies! The purse is said to be from fall of 2010. I was at the Juicy Couture store here in Colorado this afternoon, and they did not have any, but the manager there said she remembered these purses, but couldn't help me any further. She's going to call me when their Spring line-up comes out in a week or two, but she doubts they'll bring back that particular style.

I'm only worried because I'm unfamiliar with the style, not because of any real red flags. I saw some Juicy totes today that had leather pulls on the zippers, so it's possible that's just how that bag comes. I just can't find pictures of a knowingly authentic version of it to compare it to. Makes life difficult. It's so flippin' gorgeous though, I may just buy it in hopes that it's real. *sigh* Decisions.

I see what you're saying. I haven't been anywhere that sells Juicy recently, but maybe I'll look next time I am out. I would imagine that if any were left then they would be marked down. I guess I am confused about the key chain more than anything else. The other one that you showed has the extra dodads on it. At first I thought maybe they broke off of the one you are interested in. This is actually quite common for bags that are sold a discount retailers like TJ Maxx, but can also happen in department stores. It just depends on how the reduced items are being displayed. Some stores put them into these large fixtures that have pull out drawers and sometimes keychains get caught and torn off. But the key chain on the one you are interested isn't shiny like the one on the other bag you showed. So I'm confused about which one was supposed to come with the bag. Did they say anything about the key chain at the Juicy store?

I'd imagine since it's a keychain type thing, it's easy to remove, so was either taken or stolen, or perhaps it's really not an authentic purse. *le sigh* The Juicy rep remembered the quilted style, but that was about it. I think I'll ask about the keychain and see what the seller says, and maybe offer a lower price... My last refund went fairly smoothly, so even if it turns out to be a fake, maybe it's worth the shot of it being real... Can you tell I realllly want this purse?? haha I wanna justify it.

    Hello!
I got this juicy bag from a thrift shop and I'm curious if it's fake or real. Could someone help me, please? Here are some photos:

I thought it might be a diaper bag, but I'm not sure. So.. any guesses?

Hey everyone, I was wondering if someone could help me determine if my bag is real or not? I can't post pictures because I'm new here and it won't let me until I post more, but it's a baby fluffy from last year (I believe it's called a Nardles or something) and it has no heart with the J on the back of the purse, and no mirror inside, not even the thing the mirror attaches to. Also, there's only one pocket inside that does not say "Shop" or "Hello" on it. These were red flags to me but I wouldn't know for sure because I've only owned one other Juicy bag. The bag seems high quality though. Many thanks!

Do you have a particular question about a style? Are counterfeiters still replicating Juicy Couture? Serious question. I remember back early 2000's they were, but since the rise of sample sales and discount stores, and the simple fact that Juicy Couture isn't as big as they use to be, I figure counterfeiters moved on to different designers. I could be wrong though. I'm sure those bags are still floating around though.

Thanks for replying! I had some questions on a juicy couture clutch I had bought off of eBay... When I bought I just liked the look of it & never really wondered if it was real... But when I got it I kinda started to wonder if it truly was real. So I started looking at all kinds of forums online to see if I could tell if it's real or not. I couldn't find the clutch on the Internet anywhere. I do have pictures but I'm trying to figure out how to put them on here so I can asks questions... Again thanks!
