It was first Marc Jacobs who started the watch necklace trend, now fashion designer Gwen Stefani for L.A.M.B. is jumping on the trend train with the latest edition to the accessory collection, the L.A.M.B. Locket Watch.


The little Swiss movement timepiece features a round locket L.A.M.B. logo engraved case (0.75" diameter) that pops open to reveal the iridescent face with Roman numerals. Comes on a long stainless steel chain (measures 36") - where it around your neck or wrap it a couple times around your wrist. Presented in a L.A.M.B. Timepieces decorative tin. Plan on going for a swim? This watch is water resistant up to 5 ATM (=165 feet).

It is kinda cute.

Does anybody feel that L.A.M.B. has been overbranding themselves? I think their company is too young to be placing so many products out into the market. The label feels too diluted already. You can see it in their latest handbag. L.A.M.B. Bullseye Mandeville Satchel
It seems there is less and less thought with each collection they do. It used to be somewhat intimate and unique but now they just want to slap their name on something. That being said, L.A.M.B. is losing me little by little.

Oh, and I think the watch collection might have been better received if it were released in conjunction with her first video, What You Waiting For...tick tock tick tock...
