Rihanna’s Umbrella Collection
Singer of the hit under my “Umbrella” song, Miss Rihanna, is set to launch her own line of brollies. Apparently what made the idea click (according to her fan site) was that "whenever the track played it inspired UK club-goers to raise their own umbrellas.” Interesting. Must be a pretty small club or tiny umbrellas, and one big liability or bad luck. No?

The singer teamed up with clothing company Totes to bring out her collection. Right now on the Totes site there are only a few left (of the 5 variations), which range in price from $16 to $50. The cheapest one is the (a) Rihanna Signature Slender 'brella - retails for $14.99. The middle ground is the (b) Satin Stick Umbrella – retails $25. And the most expensive is the (c) Rihanna 2 Color Satin Stick Umbrella (same one used for her MTV Movie award performance) - $50

I heard about this... and I think it's the dumbest thing ever. Song is a hit... so they bring out umbrella's? I have a Pink coach umbrella and I'm def. not trading it in for a Rihanna umbrella. I'm sure this was Jay-Z's idea... not hers.

Why would anyone want to walk around with an umbrella that says "Rihanna" on it? You either need to be a 13 yr old fan or a total goober.

i think is it a bit silly that Rihanna came out with an umbrella line. but if you live in a rain-drenched city (like me) then you can never have too many umbrellas.

I would get B- the name less black satin one. and its only $25!! thats pretty cheap

its a strange idea.. al the star made jeans line, shirt line, flipflop line... and rihanna.............

i think it's silly the umbrella collection was takin it a bit to far. i mean the song was ok.. but the actual line of her 'own' umbrellas is out of control.. someone needs an ego check!!
