David Yurman Earrings

I just got the new David Yurman Spring Gift Guide catalog in the mail! And I was so sad because I saw these really pretty earrings:

They are called the Briolette Drop Earrings and it has garnet, citrine, olive quartz, yellow sapphires, and pearls! But they'll $1100!

I'm not usually into David Yurman because I don't care for the twist-y stuff he does with the metal. But these earrings are cool!

I love David Yurman jewelry. I personally don't have any in my jewelry box, but a few of my friends do and whenever they wear a piece from the DY collection I am mesmerized.

I LOVE David Yurman but not the gold pieces. I only like the silver and ice collection. My hubby has started me a collection. I hav 3 rings and 4 necklaces. I want an enhancer for my necklace next.

I like silver jewelry a lot more than gold. I don't know what it is, but gold has never appealed to me.

QC - My favorite from DY is the rings! OMG. Right now my heart is set on a ring from the silver ice collection, so pretty. Like the confetti or crossover

Jen, you never know...if you're good your BF might get it for you. DY does have VERY pretty rings. The new oversized cut stones are TDF!

I don't really like gold that much either. But there are some stones that just look better set in gold... do you know what I mean? Silver will kinda wash the color out. But... yep, most of my jewelry is silver.

Hmm... I think its a generation thing. There are lots of older people who like gold because gold was the thing 50 years ago.
Anyways, I'm just not into the twist thing he does with the metal. The thought of it makes me shudder because it reminds me of that southwestern jewelry... well, minus the HUGE chunks of turquoise! But I thought these earrings looked really cool!
