Default What kind of jewelry is appropriate for men?

I'm wondering what kind of jewelry women find appropriate for men before it's considered too flashy or metrosexual? Titanium rings and the like?

Titanium rings are cool. My bf actually wears on his pointer finger.

About other jewelry for guys, I agree with Mr. Mark Winer

I agree with Mark myself, aside from the small hoops part. Small studs in the ear are okay, but I say no to hoops on men, no matter how small!

I would say a wedding band and a small cross necklace. Besides that, no.

I would agree but I did see Morgan Freeman with a small, thick hoop earring in the movie High Crime (?) with Ashley Judd and it looked really good on him. Though it would totally weird on my hubby.

I guess it depends on the guy.

Yeah, I guess so. I can't picture Andrew wearing a small hoop. He used to have studs & I hated them so he took them out.

He would look so stupid I am pretty sure I would laugh every time I looked at him & his hoops.

As long as its not gaudy then its alright with me. And by gaudy, I mean gigantic gold chains, huge CZ stud earrings, rings that could hurt someone, watches that could signal planes, etc. My husband used to wear necklaces every once in awhile. He had a small beaded one that he bought in Arizona that he thought was a good chick-picker-up. It looked nice... sorta preppy though. He also has an earring, usually a stud. I think its a turtle right now. But the one thing that he never wears is his wedding band.

Jess, he never wears it. His hands shrink and swell throughout the year and his finger changes by as much as 2 ring sizes. Most of the time it doesn't even fit... and the rest of the time he just simply doesn't wear it.

Jennifer, yeah rings are fine as long as they are simple like the one you pictured. Unfortunately I've seen some men's rings that are so big and gaudy that you'd think that it was something a pimp would wear.
