    Default Jules Smith Nature's Wood Heart Necklace


    Why do I like this necklace? For starters, it is probably the sweetest thing I've seen in awhile. The designer has lived in Zimbabwe, the Caribbean, and New York City. These places have become an inspiration for her and it really shows. This necklace features a tiny heart bead threaded onto a simple gold tone chain. The edges of the wooden bead appear to be burned a little bit. The wood brings a great earthy vibe to this piece. I like how it is sort of unexpected. I mean, usually heart-shaped jewelry isn't made of wood. When I look at this piece, for some reason I don't see it as looking too kiddie. Rather, I see something that is both innocent and charming. It would look adorable paired with other casual earthy pieces. And for only $50, it seems too cute to pass up!
