    Default Shashi "Danna" colorful Bracelet

The Shashi "Danna" Bracelet is beautiful and guess what, shockingly I love it! I love the gold beads and the multi-colored cords make it perfect for Spring. The "Danna" Bracelet caught my eye because I've always been into those beaded bracelets that mean something. You know that ones that bring you luck or protect you from negativity. It reminds me of one of those it's just more pretty and unique.

    hmm...according to shopbop:

"Alpert and Kobo were inspired by temple bracelets handed out during Hindu prayer ceremonies, religious strings embedded with glittering stones that symbolize friendship, love, and good luck. "

I do not know what ceremonies these are where they are 'handed' out. Sacred 'thread' are tied during your wrist during specific ceremonies, not bracelets and the symbolism sounds a bit corny here to me.

It just sounds better to sell it. You know, like when tourists visit indigenous villages the people make up symbolism behind things in their artwork to make tourists want to buy it more.
