Default Target sells knockoff Hermes Bracelets!

Apparently Target sells knockoff Hermes bracelets!

Hermes Collier de Chien that normally retails in the range of $1,000 and up to $2,000 for the crocodile version. They also have the Hermes Kelly Double Tour Bracelet.

Both of the Target versions retail for only $17.

Oh my goodness thanks for reporting! To me it's like a photocopy design. It's not like the bracelets were inspired by and they came out with their own design.

I wouldn't really consider it to be a "knock off". To me, that means they are taking the name and trying to pass it off as Hermes. I would call this "inspired".

Definitely a knock-off. You can't just copy a design identically to the t, leave off the "Hermes" tag and think you can get away with it as "inspired".

I highly doubt anyone who's buying this at Target has any delusions that what they're buying is Hermes, or not Tarjay, though.

Uhm someone is going to get sued. This has Lawsuit written all over it.

Brands have been sued for less than this. Forever21, KMART, etc

You can. Tons of people have inspired things. Steve Madden does this A LOT.

I'm sure some companies get sued...but to me, inspired isn't as bad as an obvious "knock off".

I don't consider it a knockoff either. A knockoff is a replica trying to be the original, with logos and all of that. I agree with Jess that these are inspired by. They do this a lot. They had bags that looked like the PS1. Target is a retail chain that has fashion for the masses, so them having items that are inspired by other designers doesn't bother me one bit.

I saw these at Target. They are definitely inspired. Forget Hermes' i don't think anyone would even mistakenly consider them 'designer'.

I was at a new store in the mall the other day...seemed to be catering to the under 21 crowd (i forget the store's name...) they had total Bal rip-off bags, down to the shape of the rivet. Of course it still looked like a cheap pleather bag...

Whether you want to call it a"knockoff" or "inspired" doesn't really matter to me. Although I agree with V, companies have been sued for less.
