Default How much is too much?

When I wear a necklace I sometimes feel adding larger earrings is almost too
much and overpowering. I've seen people wearing necklaces, earrings & bracelets
at the same time and it looks a bit tacky. I have a gorgeous multi chain necklace and I'm wondering what to wear with it? Should I add hoops or go without?
    Anyone have thoughts on this?

If it is a multi-chain necklace, pair it with small co-ordinated studs. That would be my suggestion :-)

^^ I agree, plus if you are wearing your hair down, you don't even need any earrings. I've heard this style saying 'Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take off one accessory' Doesn't always work for me but it does make me take a second look at what I'm wearing before leaving the house
