FAKE OR REAL????
I have just uploaded some pictures of the MOVEMENT and BRACELET......
As you can see the movement is cal. 2135 - which is the correct Rolex movement for a 69173 Sapphire model Datejust....
I believe some confusion could be caused by the crystal being a wee bit dirty/grubby.....Sorry - but I take pics when I feel like......
The crystal is sapphire and NOT the older plastic type (as used in model 6917).
The model number changed to a 5 digit model number once Rolex changed from Plastic crystal to Sapphire crystal. Sapphire will chip ...... the plastic will scratch (but it can be polished out). No repairs can be made to the sapphire crystal.
